Winnebago County Court Offering Online Option For Emergency Protection Orders Print E-mail

Effective Friday, March 20, 2020, the Winnebago County Courts will offer an online option for the filing of Orders of Protection, Stalking No Contact Orders, and Civil No Contact Orders during normal business hours.

Those interested in utilizing this online option for the filing of emergency protection orders should visit the Online Emergency Protective Order Section on the Court's website for instructions on how to proceed with this option.

Please note that this online procedure relates to the first hearing on your request.  Subsequent hearings, such as hearings to request a permanent order or extended order, will still require an in-person appearance on a future court date, location, and time.
