Measure what Matters    Courts use "Clearance Rates" as a performance measurement tool.   A clearance rate is the measure of the number of cases closed as compared to the number of newly filed cases over a given period of time.    It is a measurement of whether the court is keeping up with the pace of newly filed cases or if the court is falling behind and a backlog of cases is developing.   A clearance rate of 100% or higher indicates that the court is keeping up with its incoming caseload.    Please review our performance and clearance rates in the detailed reports below:
